in addition to the Neil's helpful link, you would benefit from also viewing the very short video on how to take advantage of the super easy and parallax free curser setting of the FlipStops.


by sighting along the vertical EDGE of the curser rather than the part of the cursor closest to the scale you'll do better -  than anything possible with conventional cursors - especially if you aim for the transition between a scale marking and the blue background adjacent to it. The video clip illustrates that point.
