I pre-ordered this before it was available, so I've had a while now.
First thoughts were 'it's fiddly to setup and slow to use'... then Festool released a 2 tooth scoring blade (way to make more money!) that should have been supplied as standard.
The setup is still fiddly, and surprisingly switching the original 1 tooth blade to the new 2 tooth blade, I had to set it up all over again!
After a lot of trial and error my setup is as follows : scoring blade as deep as it goes, then slowly nudge it to the right until the main blade is perfectly aligned with the left hand edge of the score cut. Plunge is set to around 30mm for a 19mm board.
Result : the offcut is chipped and useless, but the piece of work (i.e. under the rail), is almost flawless - I can edge band with my Mafell edge bander (zero joint bander) and the join is up there with the best.
The only way to get a better result is to edge using a router, but this is time consuming, for most cases, banding straight after the TSV60.
It's a long and clunky saw for daily use, I have mine setup for melamine board and that's all it's used for. A worthwhile purchase.
