I was wondering if Festool ever has a tune up clinic type of thing held at dealers. Either tune up our Festools, minor adjustments that we are not aware of so as to take full advantage of the tools, or tune up us guys who use them! I'm sure that there's a heck of a lot more potential with my festools than I'm aware of, and taking my kapex/domino etc. to a dealer for a few hours and have stuff explained by an expert would be a huge benefit :)
I'd pay to go to something like this!

If one ever has the opportunity to attend one of the classes in Las Vegas or Indianapolis, you will learn more than imaginable.

I have been one of the lucky ones, and am grateful for the topics that you have mentioned.  There is often extra time to ask
our own "how do I....." questions.  I am an amateur's amateur, and was made to feel welcome, and came home excited to
apply what was presented, as well as how to properly setup some of the tools.

That being said, a tuneup clinic at a local dealer would be outstanding.

Werent you in the cabinet making class with me?

If I needed to tune up my tools, I get a hold of the festool rep.

Our rep here is Alan Kinsley.

He's awesome. If ever need help in tuning a up a piece of equipment, He wouldnt hesitate to help.

I  had a conversation with him once. He wanted to come out to my garage shop and visit and see what festools I have and answer any questions I have about them.

Well I got some questions on the domino.

Ill be home soon, Hope he remembers the offer.

Im going to be taking him up on it.

Plain awesome if ya ask me.

Alan is a great guy...he has helped me out on a number of occasions.  Awesome service and passionate about Festool.

During the 1 December 2012 Festool Extravaganza sponsored and hosted by In-Touch Tools of Palm Desert, CA Trainer Steve Base and Regional Sales Manager Allen Kensley not only demonstrated performing 'toe-in' adjustment on TS55 and TS75, during a break Allen fine-tuned some Festools belonging to participants.

Over the years I have met many Festool reps. All of those I have met are well-trained fine-tuning Festools.

The next time you learn about a Festool dealer event, why not e-mail or phone in advance to see if your own Festools can be fine-tuned at that event?
