Believe it or not, but back in 2006 the mitres were made between an Elu MH182 skill saw mounted on a small Elu table and a Festo TS55 on a MFT800 table. My Kapex is only two weeks old now and I have also since then traded in the Festo for a Festool TS55.

The finish is a local Genkem polyurethane matt clear varnish called Nova 17 Novathane which is heat (to some extent), water, alcohol and stain resistant. I have since then experimented with Rustin's Danish Oil and Rubio Monocote to obtain a natural look finish. Albeit that these two products are much more expensive than Nova 17, I have found the latter to be superior.
Sure you will find a local equivalent for Nova 17 over there.
