Two saws using the same rail

I have a TS55REQ and I just picked up a TSC55.  I set the TSC on one of my tracks (have not powered it up yet).  The splinter guard will be cut with the TSC meaning the blade is closer to the rail than my TS is.  Those of you who run more than one saw, do you mark certain rails for each saw or do you account for the difference when lining up the rail?  Or should they sit the same and something is out of whack with one of my saws?

Nothing is out of wack.

I calibrated all of my saws to match each other, easier than sorting through rails.

Do a forum search, this has come up before, I know there are threads on the subject.

I will say thank you gentleman. I just got a TS-75 yesterday and all my guide rail strips are cut to my TS-55 so this was perfect timing. It will probably be a long time before I even take the TS-75 out of the CMS module though, but at that point it will most likely need adjustment.

If your TS-55 is the R model match the 75 to the 55. The R model has less adjustment than the older E models.

Mine is a TS-55 REQ. I read that in the manual regarding less adjustment on the newer models, but my hope is to adjust only the TS-75 EQ, so the 4 rails I currently have will function for both saws.

Still need to figure out what part number I need to change the TS-75 dust port to the removable one like the TS-55 uses.

Yep, adjust the 75.

202096 is the part number. Make sure you clock the saw adapter properly.

[member=4105]tjbnwi[/member] thanks for the tip.  I have a 75 and the R model 55 so this is good to know.

Thanks again Tom :)

I should have known they are the same part. Already upgraded my TS-55. It will make storing the TS-75 mounted in the module easier as I can support the back of it in a bin, but only with the dust port removed. The router module stores in the bin pretty well too.

Ya, just take your time and be patient with the adjusting. My TS & TSC, out of the box were within .5 mm of each other while the HKC was almost 2 mm out. However, they can all be adjusted in.  [big grin]
