I just recently bought the Parf Guide mark 2 and on the very first use I am not sure if I tightened with too much torque or the screw was just bad or because the alen key wasn't good no idea but the tinny little set screw that was inside the stop collar on the 20 mm bit just stripped out. I was forced to drill the set screw out in order to get the drill bit out of the aluminum jig. Anyways long story short does anybody know the thread size on that screw and/or where to get one?

phone me to expedite or email me for a response on Monday

Similar issue - Allen head screw on the stop collar stripped..  I had to drill it out.  Any idea on the size so I can replace with a better screw (i.e. stainless).  Thanks Chris

Chris,
sorry you encountered this problem.

We will check it and let you know. Our own Clamping Collar on the Parallel Guide FlipStop uses a custom combination of thread and socket size screw but may work for you.

More tomorrow - if you don't see it here, drop me an email

I had the same problem after making several MFT style table tops. I replaced it with a 10mm stop collar from Powertec.
