I recently discovered that UJK is actually making their own Multi function top.  It's one of the more promising MTF alternatives I've seen on the market.  The Twist and lock dogs look pretty cool.

How do you feel the UKJ MFT stacks up against the Festoool MFT? Apart from the table not being aluminum,  it has a couple of features you wish the MFT/3 would have.

That is pretty cool.

I especially like that there is a storage area under the top and the fact you can build your own leg stand for a workshop bench.  Since the top sits on the trestles it also looks much more stable than an MFT.

It seems slightly less transportable that an MFT however.  It's also back ordered at the moment.  I wonder how much shipping is to the US.

I’m also curious about the price tag if/when it comes to the United States.

I own a UJK workbench (just the frame) and it’s pretty nice as an extended workbench. I use it as a mobile bench that I can setup in about 5 minutes... just some Stanley sawhorses and an MFT3 plate. It’s stable and works well.

I don’t like the storage area... it just collects dust and who needs it. But if you want it’s easy to remove. The clamping options are rather good. The twist dogs work and you can use regular clamps on the sides.

The frame would be easy to build yourself however, so availability shouldn’t deter you. Just use a standard mft3 top or also make it yourself. The twistdogs are nice but the parfdogs are even better....
