Uk Vecturo Prices

That's good to know, thanks for that. Gives an idea comparative to the Fein version now.

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but DM Tools have posted prices for the Vecturo in the UK.

£320 - Tool in a T-Loc

£440 - Tool + Toys in a T-Loc

And for comparison, they list the Fein SuperCut FEIN FSC2.0Q 240V SUPERCUT WITH QUICKIN SYSTEM at £389.95

Fairly similar in price since the Fein doesn't include a Systainer. Add the cost of one to the package and they are almost identical in price.

Very interesting.
Am I missing something though, there's no mention of any delta sanding capabilities and no dust collection?

Because the Vecturo is a sister of the Fein SuperCut, you can probably use the dust extraction kit (9 26 02 074 01 4) and delta sanding pads from Fein which are also available in the USA.

I don't think that kit will work with the vecturo as is, because the body of the vecturo doesn't have the small holes in the body where the springclips hook into on the supercut.
The other dustcollection accesory for the supercut, which attaches to the front of the machine, for use with the tile-grout-removal blades will probably work; on that one the springclip hooks into the airoutlets for cooling the motor.

I had both the dustcollection things for my supercuts, but I didn't like the one for the sanding, because the springclip scratches up the body pretty bad when you don't get it just right on the first try.

I'm not sure if I'm getting the vecturo yet, my van got broken into on my own driveway two months ago and one of my supercuts got stolen; it was the newer version, and I had most of my blades in the case (including a fresh set of the tilegroutremoval blades (the 1mm and the regular), glazier set, carpenter set, and a fresh set of the long e-cut blades).(They got a good haul of my other tools aswell, including my ts55, trion, of1010,protool csp 68 and a bunch of other tools)

I'm getting by with my older supercut without the keyless bladechange for now. The advantage of the vecturo over the supercut for me would be the toolless mounting of the depth stop accesories, (the supercut has the ski-type depthstop, but it mounts with 2 screws). and the integrated plugit connection. (I had a pigtail on it for 1 day... I hated the way the stiff green pigtail made the tool feel unballanced and annoying to control). Also the switch looks like it would be easier to operate; on the supercut I had to spray a lot of dry silicone lube between the switch and the body for it to work comfortably.

They were doing the supercuts here in a systainer as a special

I was aware that they *were* but I couldn't find any with a quick search. Is that still going on, or is the promo over?

Fein dust collection is totally sub par anyway so I don't bother with it.
