Uk vouchers

But first can anyone confirm the 5.2Ah battery that the voucher is for can be charged on the TCL3 charger that came with my Qua drive PDC 18 volt drill?

Yes, same charger, there's no change to the batteries other than the capacity.

Once again cheers Jonny, though my accountant might not be quite as happy as I now am.

Cheers.

Doug.

I also just got home to find the voucher.

The only battery powered festool I own is the cxs, so is there much in this for me?

I would like to buy the DRC drill but after buying the basic drill, charger and extra battery is there much of a saving from just buying the plus version in the first place? [huh]

Don't know whether this will help but I think Wow is selling a charger on  its own for £30 (he bumped the ad recently)

He is, and it includes shipping to anywhere on the UK Mainland since that's where it is sitting right now!

[wink]

Thanks for the bump!  [thumbs up]

Well my voucher will be winging its way to Folkestone tomorrow with a bit of luck  [cool] [thumbs up]

Don't know what you're getting but take a look on Warrens toolfest site he's set up a special section with the voucher deals. Might be worth a look nice to support a FOG dealer if you can.

Not sure how the prices are but they seemed competitive when I took a quick look. I'm skint so won't be splashing out yet.

Do you get the battery then and there and the dealer sorts the money out with Festool or is it posted? Can't seem to find it in the T&Cs. It's probably there, I have bad eyesight when it comes to small print.

Like that time I bought the wrong bridge.

What!!??  Where's my voucher?  I have purchased two 18v tools in the last year.  My BHC only a 2/3 months ago.  I'm all registered up and stuff.

I have been thinking about a bare T18 recently. . . . This would probably help me make the jump.

We only got them today. I'm sure you'll get one if you're registered.

Hi Jimmy

The process is supposed to work like this, you take or send your voucher to me (other dealers are available) and purchase your BASIC machine. Subject to stock you take away or are sent the free battery with the BASIC product. All the machines and batteries will be supplied to you by the dealer.

In our case we are waiting for stock, so you will have to wait a little while depending on what Festool have available. If you are close enough then pop in and make your purchase, if you are further away, post me your voucher with your phone number and we'll call you to take your order. Those who prefer can order the BASIC product online, and then email us to confirm they are sending a voucher to claim a free battery. Once the voucher arrives we'll send your machine and free battery to you, again, subject to stock.

If you need the machine in a hurry, do contact us first for availability. If not rest assured you'll be next in line for machines from Germany.

Our pricing should remain the same for the period of the promotion, so from now until the end of April, but in these crazy days of Festool pricing here in the UK I can't guarantee it.  ::)

Any queries then please ask.

Best regards

Warren

I have 2 vouchers that i won't be using.  Mr HMRC has taken care of any spending at this time of year.  Anyone want them then let me know.

Thanks for the clarification Warren.

I am not far from you so once I have saved a few quid hopefully you will have stock!

Cheers.

No problem Jimmy.

These vouchers are certainly popular, with many already in the post to us.

Can anyone guess the most popular BASIC machine after the first couple of days?

Best regards

Warren

Actually I can't! But would be interested to know.

But expect a call from me this week for a Carvex or BHC - decisions, decisions!
