I was approached by a public school in our area and asked me if I could build them a storage cart to hold 30 Ukeleles. Decided to make it out of maple plywood I had around the shop. Just need to give it a light sanding and then a clear finish.
cheers,
JC
P.S. Sorry for the crappy photo.

Nice work!  That holds a lot of Uke's!  Is that just pipe insulation to protect the instruments when stored?

Yes it is pipe insulation. The horizontal pieces are made from 3" wide maple plywood with a 1" thick piece glued and screwed to the top, thus creating a T-beam, so the foam had something to grab. I used 2 inch screws to provide rigidity to the 66" long beam. Once I have the finish on I will post a better picture.
Cheers,
JC

Finally completed. here is a better photo.
Have a great weekend everyone.
