I'm proud owner of Festool TS 75 Tracksaw and MFT/3 Table. Here is my unboxing video of the tools:

congrats on tools.
can i ask who you bought them from?
(i ask because i appreciate the extra foam side protection on the OUTSIDE
of the MFT box sides to protect the alum. rails on the sides of mft from
being dented by some delivery people or trucks, it happened to me!)

i was told by festool service each mft side rail was 93 bucks to replace
and they dont put foam on the sides of the box to protect it.
so its up to the a good dealer to protect us from the bad delivery truck

The order was fulfilled by ToolNut.com. They have a partnership with Amazon.com. I have existing relationship with Amazon. This is the order flow:
Amazon->ToolNut->UPS->Me :)

ToolNut was offering free shipping and I'm extremely satisfied with their packaging. I have read some horror stories about bent legs of MFT/3 table.

The same table/track saw is also available at my local Woodcraft store but I did not want to make that extra trip and lug the tools with me from store to home.

Thanks for your kind words! I love what I have experienced so far. I have some engineering/science background so I always look for opportunities to improve. I may find things Festool can improve. :)
Please stay tuned, in coming weeks and months, I'm sure I will have more experiences to share with FOG community. :)

ah yes, the patented "step on it with your sandals until it submits" move.  followed by destroying the box so it can't be used to ship back in case of internal damage.  i just love the new video culture--very entertaining display of what "not to do".

in any case, welcome to the fog dude.  enjoy your new tools.  some years ago those very 3 items happened to be my first festools as well.

now, if you'll excuse me, i must run and make a video of my cute 4 year old using my rotex to polish up her barbie dolls...

Welcome!!  Congrats on the new tools!  What do you have planned for the first project?

I have to say, the MFT bloopers gave me a good laugh!  Festool packs it in there good 'n snug! :). When you buy the second MFT to connect with the first one, just open one end, flip it upside down and pull the box straight up, wiggling it a little along the way.  :)
