Unknown peice in Carvex Emerald Edition

3 months new to Festool. There is a small piece of plastic attached to a lanyard. What is it? I don't see it in the manual. I'm guessing some type of gauge.

It’s for use in the cms system, it locks the saw in the on position

Thanks for helping. I was wrong, the info is on page 9 of the supplemental Manual. I downloaded and read the supplemental manual but forgot that part. It says the key is used to lock the power in European configuration and isn't available in North America.
