Upgraded my DW745

I forgot to add my thanks to [member=65062]DynaGlide[/member] . I just finished mine up this past weekend.  Its a pretty cool upgrade, appreciate the original post.

Quick question -- do you have to remove the auxiliary fence to "flip" the saw's support for wider cuts?

My Super Track and JessEm guides showed up!

I went with a 36" Super Track extrusion, so on my DWE7490 I now have ~16.5" of support before the blade with 3/4" material:

It makes a big difference, thanks [member=65062]DynaGlide[/member] for this awesome idea and thread!

On the back side I used hex socket cap screws and some nylon washers for a small footprint -- was able to retain the DeWalt push stick holder:

I would think so? I just realized this tonight. Kind of a bummer. With the JessEm guides in place, to get a push stick through you really can't cut skinnier than 2", and due to the table surface not wider than ~12" on my model. So with the auxiliary fence and guides in place it definitely limits the type of cuts that work... unless someone else has some input on how to get around this?

The last narrow strips I cut were 1/2" wide or so. To do so, you need a long push stick that can go below the roller and preferably a feather board, too. See the set-up in the image.

By the way, I mentioned this before: you can use the front roller/fence as a stop block for making cuts with the miter gauge.
