Upgrades for Parallel Guides Needed

I recently purchased a set of the parallel guides to use with my guide tracks and was somewhat disappointed in how they worked. Festool needed to do a bit more product design before bringing these to market. A few ideas for my wish list on these would be longer guides or add ons to extend the current units so you can cut longer than 25 1/2". They need to be able to be handle at least 36". What would also help a lot in setting up would be to add a flange to the top of the stops so they rest on top of the material being cut so the guides stay level  and not sag down losing contact with the edge of the board. I can't quite understand why Festool didn't design this helpful little piece in to units. I used a Domino clamped to the stop and it saved a lot of time in having to constantly check that the stops are set right. A pretty easy upgrade to do.

Nice idea though a 4mm or 5mm tapped hole running through would probably be better as the stops are not handed. If there were a flange you would have to make sure you put them on the correct side
