A Client asked me to make a small shelf for the guest/storage cabin.
Used 8mm Dominos to attach the shelf to the bulkhead and screws in the shelf side throw cabinet. Used marine calking as glue. It gets super strong but still stays flexible to take the movements of the boat.
Marked and cut the Domino holes in the workshop. Transfer the center markings to my straight line on the bulkhead. Check with a stud finder for metal. Next time I going to do that before I cut the Domino holes in the shelf. But this time I was lucky.
Before I always used a cleat to fasten shelfs etc to bulkheads. Its get bulky and don't looks so clean. Specially on smaller things like this shelf.
