I am selling my CT22E with accessories on my local Craigslist.. besides the CT22 it includes a  #4 Systainer, 5 dust bags, original antistatic hose and another larger 36mm antistatic hose. In good condition purchased a few years ago and used in my home shop. Not sure what to list it for on my local Massachusetts Craigslist. Any ideas what it might be worth? I looked online and the replacement cost is around 700.00. I have the ad made out all except the price, really not sure..
Thanks

Zeke, welcome to the forum. Hopefully you're selling to replace it with the new model...  [smile]

Just looking at recently completed auctions on eBay, the CT 22 sold for $380 and hose for $53. A CT 33 with hose garage, hose and a dozen bags sold for $400. You can probably use those to gauge the selling price for the other items.

Good luck.

I would start with 450 - 500. If it doesn't sell quickly you can always lower the price later on.

It might also be worth selling the CT22, 36mm hose and dust bags separately. You'll get more money for it that way.

I'm with Alex.  Start high, maybe $550 or $600, pointing out replacement cost is $700.  If you don't have to get that price, be willing to negotiate.

Post your ad on the weekend - there's lots more traffic.  If your CLIST is active, repost once the item falls off the first page.  If someone calls with a low bid, wait a day or two before taking it.  If you are not in a rush, take your time.  I have had stuff for sale on CLIST that didn't get a nibble for a month, then all of a sudden three calls in one week - at the same price.

Be sure to post a picture, be upfront about any issues with the tool - its a big bummer to have to deal an unpleasant surprise in person.
