Festool doesn't have any saw blades with flat teeth, so I'm looking to buy a grooving blade from CMT, and I'm wondering if these types of blades will work on my CS 70? (I live in the EU and for some reason FTG teeth saw blades are hard to get hold of).
I'm planning on using it on joinery tasks, grooves, dadoes etc. Not cross or rip cutting. It has the same arbor size of 30mm.
1. They have a smaller diameter than the original 225mm. Will that pose a problem?
2. I think the actual blade has the same thickness as standard blades, but the actual teeth vary between 2mm to 6mm in width depending on the model. Would my CS 70 be able to handle for example teeth with 5mm width?
3. Is there anything else that could go completely wrong when trying blades like these? Any possible malfunction or unsafe results?
For example, these blades look a bit more heavy than standard blades.
