Has anyone any experience of using two guide rails to support a router, on the MFT?
I am looking at ways of cutting tenons, and wondered if the two-rail idea would be feasible.

Thanks in Anticipation

I don't have it, but it seems like the MFS might be a better (if costly) solution for this operation, or if you have a table saw, one of those tenon jigs.

Leigh also makes a mortise and tenon machine, which I used to consider outrageously expensive before I started purchasing Festool.

+ 1 on the mfs.  useful for so many things.  use your imagination...it can help you do it!

Not sure if this is what you are asking, but when I use the guide stop for my router on the guide rail, instead of using the outrigger foot, I usually place another guide rail (flipped around) to support the router.  That way I have full support and I know the height is an exact match.

A picture please as this would confirm what's in my thoughts.
Sounds like a great idea.
