Using CT MINI electrical outlet without dust extractor turning on

I have had my mini for a year now.  It has started to follow me around like a faithful puppy on every job in my carpentry business.  I find myself wanting to use the outlet on the dust extractor sans extractor instead of carrying an extra extension cord into a customers home.  If Festool is about saving users money through efficiency why doesn't the dial (man/off/auto) have another detent that says "outlet" that bypasses the extractor motor and allow for a full 15a draw on the outlet.

Is there already a solution for using the outlet on the mini in this way?

Hi and welcome to the forum. [welcome]

What I understand you're asking for an additional outlet with constant power. To my knowledge this option is just available for the larger vacs, CTL 26 and up. For europe the part no. is 496142 and has to be installed by a certified electrician not to void the warranty.

I'm sure someone else will have some idea. There is always the option to get help from a certified electrician to find a workaround but that will definately void your warranty of your vac.

Welcome to the forum.

There is not a solution to use the outlet without the CT being on. Sorry.
