Using Incra fence to rout perfect MFT holes

This may well have been posted before but I haven't seen it.

I picked up the small Incra fence some time ago on a trip to the US (much cheaper there!).

I also bought some metric tracks to swap out with the imperial ones it comes with - they were less than £10.

I made up a simple jig that hangs over the fence and screwed a spare Festool green (!) track on the inside. This allows perfect indexing vertically.

Together with the standard horizontal indexing and a profile router cutter I can move the fence in exact repeatable 1mm increments horizontally and vertically.

I've only done a small piece of MDF for a MFT-SYS I'm making but it's very accurate :).

Incra also sells Incremental Track -- lengths of track just like their/your incremental fence.  You could purchase two lengths of Incremental track to make your own parallel guide.  Might work better for this application...

Thanks Corwin - although this works very well as is. It's not something I'll be doing that often.

Cellule - will post a few more pics later!
