using Kapex 60 (cordless) with extension wings on a flat surface

The Kapex 120 can be used with the extension wings, legs folded up, on a bench top or other flat surface.
Can the Kapex 60 work the same way?
My understanding is that a plastic adaptor tray is necessary to connect the extension wings because the saw itself has no v-grooves to directly attach the wings (as the Kapex 120 has). All the pictures I see show that adaptor mounted on a mobility cart.  I'm wondering if the adaptor and wings can be used without that cart.  That  is, if the saw inside the tray is set on a bench top, is the saw bed at the same height above the bench top as the Kapex 120 would be?

A Festool rep responded to me by email.  Their answer: No.

The KSC60 Cordless Saw can only receive side extension wings when on the UG Stand combined with the Adapter Base #202056. The KSC60 when used on a flat surface will not receive the extension wings as it does not have the “V” grooves necessary. The Adapter Base will only be leveled properly when used on the UG Stand and will not have the correct height when laying flat on a surface.

Festool recommends pairing the KSC60 to the Underframe Set #202055

In deciding between the Kapex 60 and Kapex 120, for me this is a fairly big strike against the 60. I'd prefer an out-of-the-box solution that does not require the mobility cart.  Also, the wings for the 60 apparently are not offered yet with Imperial measuring tapes. I see pros and cons for both saws, but this issue tips me toward the 120.  I'd rarely need the extra capacity of the 120 but do prefer its bevel adjustment mechanism and supplied hold-down clamp.

I have recently purchased the ksc60 with the underframe and Kapex MFT, thinking it would work with the wings in that setup. Turns out it doesn’t. Now I’m stuck with fabricating a solution.

Bummer.  But with the Kapex 120, you can set up the saw and the wings (with the legs folded up) on any flat surface.  The floor, a sheet of plywood on sawhorses, whatever.  I wonder why Festool didn't design the newer KSC60 the same way, with V-notches on either side to accept the wings directly.  Seems to me, those little pull-out extensions on either side of the KSC60 are nearly useless.
