In this case, I am cutting semicircles, but it could be any odd shape that you need to cut repeatedly and accurately. I have about two dozen to cut, so I needed to make something that could help quickly and precisely over and over again.

That's really cool.  I love seeing things like this.  I will probably never do something  exactly like that, but it just gets the creative thoughts going.  Much appreciated.  What's the final piece going to be?

Thanks, it's going to be a couple of cube-shaped side tables with circles in the frames and a glass top.

Nice setup.  Do you find you have to be careful about how deep you bang the wedges, since that will slightly alter the angle at the two bases of the semi-circle?  Or is it so slight that it won't make a difference?

Yes, you have to tap them in gently so that the whole jig doesn't creep forward.  But the circles close up on the jig quite easily with only light pressure. I use a brass tack hammer.

Here's a follow-up video of the same project where I use the MFT, TS55 and domino to cut and attach mitred frames to hold the circles.

Great techniques, thanks for sharing. Do keep the thread going so we can see the final product.
