In this case, I am cutting semicircles, but it could be any odd shape that you need to cut repeatedly and accurately. I have about two dozen to cut, so I needed to make something that could help quickly and precisely over and over again.

Nice setup. Do you find you have to be careful about how deep you bang the wedges, since that will slightly alter the angle at the two bases of the semi-circle? Or is it so slight that it won't make a difference?
Yes, you have to tap them in gently so that the whole jig doesn't creep forward. But the circles close up on the jig quite easily with only light pressure. I use a brass tack hammer.
