I just can't hardly wait to vacuum up piles of plane shavings and ski wax. Question is: if I go from a D 50 to a D 36 to a D27 at what point will i lose dust extraction efficiency,if at all ? Thanking you in advance dan

Hey Dan
I'm no expert on vacuum cleaner hoses or ski wax, but...
It would appear to me that vacuuming up loose wax in great quantities would line the ridges and eventually clog a smaller hose quicker. Some stuff may be better swept.
As far as sawdust and dry debris go, I'd have the same suction over a greater area going from a 27 to a 36.
If I'm cleaning up around the shop and I have a 36 and a 27 and no nozzle, I'd use the 36. It covers more area.
If I use the same nozzle on both the 32 and the 27 there really is no observable difference.

hope this may help

Greg

Thanks Greg, I almost forgot all about dust brooms and  dust pans and yes they are very effective for ski wax. I'm looking forward to getting some kind of workshop cleaning set just haven't decided which one yet. thanks dan tivo rules
