Vac hose sized for Kapex

For those of you using the ct mini or midi with the 37mm hose on the Kapex, how much " background" dust are you making? If I was to go up to the ct33, do you think it would eliminate the better portion of the mess.
I'm not saying it is alot crumbs, but I was wondering if it would be worth kickin' it up a couple of notches.
Although I will say after about 150 cuts on various sized stock, I have collected about a half a bag dust in my mini. Very impressive

Tony, I've use both the CT Mini and CT22 (with the D36 hose) and there isn't a great deal of difference in the collection between the two.

I can't believe you all are seriously thinking of blowing $70-80 for a 5' chunk of vacuum hose!

I've got more green and black stuff than the average bear, but I'd not piss away that kind of change for something so simple.

I've got to agree Julian.  I bought the "pro" Shop Vac hose at Lowe's for $30 and it works great with the Kapex.  One end slips perfectly over the extraction outlet on the saw and the other end fits perfectly in my 22.  Besides the fact that it's a bright blue it is a great fit and at a fraction of the cost.

Gotta be a business opportunity here by finding the perfect shade of green spray paint, labeling it "Festool Green" and selling it to these folks so they can color-code their shops ;D

Who am I kidding?  I'd buy a can of that myself!
