You’re in the right place! Search this thread for “excel” and you should be well on your way.

Glad you got the SE1!

I just ordered SE1 and SE2.  I couldn't find pump for sale anywhere... but thanks to FOG members I can use different pump to work with it.

-Upon reading this thread, looks like "Vaneer Excel 3 Pump" works with SE units.  Is this the site I can make purchase? (https://www.veneersupplies.com/products/Excel-3-Continuous-Run-Vacuum-Press-System.html)

-Is "Excel 3" 120V? or 240V?

-Is "Excel 5" too powerful? it's 5.0 cfm.

-Thankfully one of the member in this thread listed extra parts I will need for the setup. Is there any instruction video or steps I can follow for setting up SE1 and SE2 with this pump?

I can't wait to use them for my shop and thanks for making this work guys! :)
I can't find SE1 or SE2.  Can someone post a link for it.  Thanks

The Vac-Sys does indeed save a lot time...

Lee Valley has the Vac-Sys System Set back in stock for anyone who is interested.
Still available 23(?) hours later.  Not sure which zone time stamps are located in, or if they’re all local to me.  Ordered as soon as I saw this.

And they’re out of stock now…. But I did get a confirmation email.

Just to add to the confusion... my 120V Sys-Vac pump is in a classic Systainer  [tongue] hmm...

Here's another one I just spotted in the workshop of Michael Fortune:

Ha! Awesome! Michael is among my woodworking heroes, too. He makes jigs for every aspect of a project. He must have some that directly incorporate the VAC-SYS. Would be interesting to find out.

+1 on that idea.  [cool]

Michael Fortune has been one of my woodworking hero’s too (because of the brilliant jigs he makes) since way back when Fine Woodworking was published in black and white.

I still have my  B&W  Fine Woodworking mags.

I have to wonder if people dig out and mail in the reader service cards from these old issues for fun. And I'm assuming FWW had those.

Darn near dumped these in a recent purge, then reconsidered.

Lots of good stuff.
