A concrete form tube, or a portion thereof, should work well to overcome any spewing.

You don't need to enclose the whole pump, just channel the exhaust into something to quell the oil mist. Something like a foam filter would work.

Here is the first example above repeated with the Robinair pump.

This shows the connections I used. There is no particular reason I chose these other than I had them somewhat handy and wanted a quick-connect for possible convenience.
