There was a vac sys at the Festool demo during the recent tool show held at Hartville Hardware in Ohio.  That is one sweet unit!  Sounds like the demand overseas was severely underestimated so it may be a while before it is AINA.

you're mistaken the Vac sys with the Conturo edge bander.  When Larry Smith was talking about underestimating the demand for the tool, he was talking about the Conturo.  I believe the Vac Sys is readily available in other markets.

I think that if Festool offers the Conturo in the US, they need to offer the Vac Sys at the same time.  The two go hand in hand.

Who would want the Conturo without the Vac Sys???    Makes no sense to me.

Eric, You are right, Good Buddy!  My mistake.  I guess I was so blown away watching Larry in action working both of them that I got things a little confused.  LOL!
