Vacuum wheels keep breaking

I have 3 festool vacs, a mini, a 22, and a 26.  My mini and 22 front left wheels broke off after 18 months, and today, my 26 front right wheel started acting up and might break soon.  Does anyone else have this problem.  I won't lie, these vacs get used a good bit and get stored in my van.  But I really wonder how this keeps happening.

My mini and 36 are perfect and they get rolled round over rough pavers, etc - but nit in and out of a van.

Do you have stuff stacked on them in the van? - going over bumps could create a fair load impact.

Ummm..because it's not a rider?

[wink]

Our 26 that usually doesn't have much on it, but a couple things, has never broken a wheel.
The 22 that mainly serves the Kapex and 850 that has the workcenter on top of it has never broken a wheel
My primary 22 that is the workhorse that usually has a stack of Sys on top 4' - 6' high keeps breaking wheels; never a front, always the rear. I've replaced I think 3 sets, so I'm on the fourth. As much as I'd like to blame it on Festool I realistically can't.
If you are going to load that CT up with Sys I'd expect to break some wheels

I worry about the wheels on my CTL Midi, so I generally am very careful about what I drive over when I have it loaded with a couple of systainers. I think it's probably better in the long run to have a Sys roll, if you need to carry more than a couple of systainers on wheels.

Have you contacted Festool Service? It doesn't seem as if they should break after that period of time unless there is something unusually extreme about the environment they are used in or the wheels are regularly banged against the truck frame when loading or unloading; or maybe dropped down hard on concrete when unloading. I have not had problems with the wheels on my CT48 but I do not move it from place to place; only across the floor in my workshop.
