Hi guys
I thought i would share a few pictures of my van racking.
I've alway found that good van racking with ply, can be quite heavy.
So i've made this one with copper.
It work really well and very light weight

Nice job but I'm not being funny, I can't see it lasting long. Copper pipe is too soft.

I'm liking your thinking here. We usually err towards wood because we know how to cut and join so easily. Thinking outside the box for outside the box (systainer).

Thanks mate
Yeah it really works. I've made Tool boxes and all sorts out of cooper and its stronger than you think

I probably would have left it bare copper for the look. Although not the cheapest material I am sure it is functional and that is what counts!

ABS would also be a good light weight alternative that is strong. I really like working with plastic.

[member=40157]chippy100[/member] did your FS rail get into a bar fight or something? [scared] [eek]

Alright that's pretty freaking slick and I may have to incorporate that somehow into my trailer. IMPRESSED.

It don't move at all in transit, the box sit the same as a systainer would on ply boxing. Yeah and that rail has had a hard life, its fitted about 600 kitchens on price work, it's now used for my sword saw
