Vecturo, Toolie and CT Wings - December 1st Release in USA - Order Now

Awesome! I am happy about the new items, but I must say that I am a little disappointed that a new drill wasn't included. I'm sure we will get more goodies sooner or later  [cool]

I hear ya Daniel, I've been hoping for it as well.  For a few different reasons.  Would like to see some none wood working brought into the mix.  A larger customer base in the states means good things for all of us.

Pleasant surprise to see the Toolie and the Wings.  I had wondered for quite some time what held the wings up.  Now we know!  Just a nicely bundled together launch rather than introducing them on their lonesome.

[size=18pt]What's this?  Vectura and Wings have not as yet been announced for Australian release so -
[size=24pt]NAINAC becomes NADUC
[size=12pt](Not Uvailable Down Under Currently) !  That's a first!? [eek]
[size=12pt]
No use for Vectura but could use those Wings nearly every day.

Any idea if the plunge base is going to be available a la carte? It looks like it might fit on a SuperCut I might already have.

Nice surprise! I'm keen to get hold of the CT wings to go with my recon MIDI to use around the house..I tried to get one in England last week but everyone I tried was out of stock...now I know why...saving inventory for the NA release!

The Toolie is here! Seriously, the toolie is actually here

Just looked through what's included on this and saw that a 7mm hex is on this tool. Just of out curiosity, what in the world of Festool is a 7mm hex? It's the only size I don't already have in T-handle, a lot of companies don't even sell a 7mm.

I think that's the largest hex socket wrench used on things like the MFT IIRC. I think I've used all the socket wrenches on the toolie at one time or another with my Festools. The slot head is a bit soft and mine bent seemingly too easily. The other tools are useful around the shop for all your Festools, such as changing router bases, removing the boom arm etc. It's worth having if you have a few Festools.

+1

And...... if you ever decide to retire from the proceeds generated by liquidating your hi re-sale valued Fes-tools
(Fes-toooools..get it? get it?) you will find that most all small to moderate sized engines from the 1970s and earlier machined a lot of their products using 7mm hex, particularly of italian origin, IIRC.

but I digress... :)

Happy hunting Gentlemen,

David

Does the apron come in a T-loc sys mini or classic?

Hi Runhard,

it comes in a mini.

David

Yes, I know it comes in a mini, but is it a T-loc mini or classic mini?

Why hello again Runhard,

Initial reports are a bit sketchy at the moment. I don't have that info yet sorry. I also mis-understood your post, so my apologies.

I can definitely tell you though that several witnesses report seeing a blueish grey haze of concentrated smoke rising from the grassy  knoll area.

David

Why thank you Sal, I figured as much but would have hated to be presumptuous until I personally 100% confirmed.

Coming from you is more than good enough for me.
