Vecturo - Wood Smoke

I tried the Fein extractor back when I owned a Supercut. The problem was, the assembly was very awkward, the fitting was only designed for having the blade in line with the tool, and even then didn't work very well. Plus, on the Vecturo it would require the removal of the tool-free collar. The Fein accessory also limits your depth of cut.

Hi Tom,
There appears to be an improved version 92602075018 DUST EXTRACTOR - SUPER CUT
though it remains to be seen how effective that is. I guess the straight versus the curve bend helps a bit and the enclosed housing should provide stronger vacuum.

Thanks for all the input. I'll try a slower speed and I'll set up my vac nozzle close enough to siphon off the smoke.

If it wasn't for the plunge fixture, I probably would not have bought the Vecturo. That allows me to safely make some cuts that I could not have attempted otherwise.

everyone over drives these tools. the festool is basically a supercut, which way out powers the multicut and the other underpowered brethren.  i own both , the supercut and the festool. use the greater power and slow the power down. i would advise start at the bottom and apply more pressure adding rpm as needed.
