I asked about a cordless version at a recent Festool roadshow and was told that there are no plans to develop/release one. Shame as I'd buy one.

Yeah they told me they had no plans to bring out a newer midi vac , a few months after I'd bought a second midi they brought out a new t loc version .

I have the original Fein, pain in the butt to change cutters, and they always come loose, bought the Vecturo, really nice machine., anyone what the old Fein model?

Ill be getting one. I got a older fein that drives me crazy because the bolt that holds the blade keeps coming look. Maybe I need to go to the hardware store and buy a star washer.
Maybe that will hold it. If I cant find a wawy to stop that bolt from coming loose, Im done with the fien

I have an older multimaster with bolt and use blue loctite on the bolt.  It keeps bolt from vibrating loose.  After changing blades dozens of times the blade will start to loosen again and I have to reapply the loctite and good to go again.
