Interesting pricing too!

Crying out for a briefcase style handle on the side!

This could be the clamping surface I have been looking for.  A lot cheaper than an MFT, but every bit as usable.

I shall assume this forum is read by many woodworkers with tools and experience etc. etc. who could easily make one of these in an hour for a few £'s and at a size that suits...

I prefer to spend my money on tools and things I could not fabricate myself.

I can't figure out the rails around this surface. Installed like this it does not allow other (FT)clamps or flags etc. Shame

I saw this last weekend at Woodworking in America.  I couldn't figure out if the festool clamps would fit.  The Lee Valley rep mentioned that they didn't want to get too close to stepping on Festools toes since they sell more festool in Canada than any other dealer.

I almost went to the Festool booth to borrow a clamp and check but thought that would be frowned upon.  All in all though it seemed like a really cool piece of kit.  The extrusions were nicely done.
