Vertical Fence

I didn't know where to post this question so I expect the Moderator to place where it belongs.

I am looking for ideas for a feather board that attaches to my Sawstop table saw fence to apply downward pressure to narrow pieces of wood. I have the feather boards that have the magnetic bases. They work on wide pieces 1" or wider, but not on more narrow pieces.

I have no experience with it, but I have heard good things about the Gripper.

Make a wooden auxiliary fence to clamp onto your sawstop fence (good for many uses), then clamp or screw a cheap plastic feather board onto the aux fence.

I haven't paid attention to the sawstop fence, but maybe something shop made along these lines might work?
