Very, very small success story

This is no big deal to most of you guys, but it is a semi-big deal to me. Making one last cabinet for my aunt (don't ask!). First 2 cabinets, PC 325 CS and a straight edge, finish on TS (not happy with results). Cabinets 3, 4, and 5, TS-55, cut slightly over, finish to size on the table saw (happier, but still fiddly).

Been reading and studying the techniques and tips here, so decided to cut the 6th cabinet using TS-55 only. Especially helpful were tips on getting the ply square and the razor blade idea. Well, just finished squaring the sheet then cutting top, bottom, sides and 2 shelves and they are the best, most accurate right-off-the-bat cuts I've ever achieved. Period. Crisp, clean edges. And everything is square! Ready to domino and assemble.

So a big thank you to the FOG members for sharing their tips and tricks. Two thumbs up. This forum rocks!  ;D

So Grasshopper,

You have realised the wisdom of your peers. More satisfying, surely, than snatching stones from the hand of an old, bald, blind guy.

Thank you master. You are to me as the wind is to a small house fan. Or I might have made another comparison in the Orange room.  ;D But, I am learning. Not from you, necessarily, but I am learning.  ;D ;D

I think it's a big deal everytime. Have an attaboy. ;D
Open a beer for yourself over there, if you're so inclined. Just not before you start cutting again.

Bob,
GREAT!!! I think that one thing, squaring panels and achieving success at it, is the best goal any of us can ever reach...with or without the Festool guide rail system. Now appreciate the next step...i.e. it isnt by chance. If you follow the same steps, you will have square and accurately cut panels from this point on. Mucho kudos (that's metric) to you.
