Veto por pac Tool Bags

I've got the XL too. Best tool bag I've had, and I've tried a few. Wouldn't go any bigger because it would be way too heavy fully loaded.  Very comfortable to carry with the shoulder strap.
 
Just picked up an LC and I'm impressed so far :) . I got it for £115 from Taylors tools in kings Langley a 60 mile round trip for me. The LC had literally just arrived from the US today. Looked at the XL but reckon the LC will do me size wise. Now to tidy up my pile of hand tools in my old Dewalt bag and transfer to my new Veto :)
 
Ordered the LC for electrical gear today. Due to be delivered fri. £117 inc delivery.
 
I started filling mine up last night and started to worry it wasn't going to be big enough, but it's like a tardis stuff fits in fine. Ordered some new chisels and a set of Wera drivers to go in it
 
I'm working with mine now. Building a concrete panel form. I like to store my tajima saw in there but theres no good place for it so it sits just inside the zippered flap. Works ok nonetheless, just in the way when I'm going deeper.

Is anyone protecting the pockets from chisel tips?
 
I looked into the chisel tip idea but noticed that on one of the videos the inventor of the pro Pac says how you can stab them in the pockets and not do any damage. Not sure about that and my new set come with covers
 
If I recall, the fabric is a ripstop nylon of a high denier stitch quality plus the solid base would prevent penetration, all the same to protect at least your chisels, use the tip covers. I might also suggest getting another one as an overflow ;)

Regarding the chisel covers , my new chisels turned up the other day with the plastic tip covers. Tried them in the veto but every time you take one out it leaves the cover stuck deep in the pocket. Might need to put some sort of plastic tube or some sort of mod in the pockets. I know the inventor says on his videos that the material will take a stabbing from chisels etc but I'm sure it wouldn't stand up to years of taking razor sharp chisels in and out.

Lol ......I never used to, until I bought a worksharp my chisels were an embarrassment [emoji15]
 
Does anyone know of any dealers that have these in stock to view? I'm down in Dorset, so probably not much hope of finding them local. I would like to see one before parting with £100's on a bag, do they do shoes to match  [cool]
 
I struggled to find a dealer locally and im in London. Ended up driving round the M25 60 mile round trip but im glad I got one they really are as good as everyone makes out.
 
Yeah well impressed with mine. Got it online from beasleys. I would order from them and just send back if not happy....but you will be ;)

I haven't stabbed mine purposely but 1 or 2 pockets have ripped
