Hey Guys

Here is my newest video demo on the veto pro pac OT-XL bag.  This bag was sent to me by veto and I've been using it for the last couple of weeks.  I'm glad they sent it to me to review as I found I like the closed top bags from veto better.  So guess what..  I will be giving away this bag to one of my viewers.  All you need to do is subscribe to my youtube page and post a comment about the bag and your entered to win the bag in a random drawing done 2 weeks from now.  This giveaway is to US residents only (Sorry guys).  Thanks for checking them out and stay tuned for a new video next week.

I hope others can sigh up for your drawing but it is just not working for me.... maybe because I don't have a u tube account it is asking for and it will not allow me to create one. hope this works for others and someone gets the case.

Cheers,
Steve

Thanks Dave,

What do you think of the product as a fill for the job kind of bag. What I mean is I have a few bags that I keep empty and am looking for one with pockets, that i can fill out of the vehicle so I can just take what I need. or say your on the main floor and need to go to the 3rd. Don't want to use the 5 gallon bucket...LOL.

Cheers,
Steve

I'm not Dave, Steve, but that is exactly what I think the open top bags are for.

If you have a dedicated kit, I would suggest the closed top bags. You can zip them up and toss them across the room and everything will stay right where you put it.

Tom,

I'm with you a closed bag, is what I use for most everything, so I know it will be in there when I get there. Open bags are good once on site. Where I'm coming from .... how well does fit this elect job and then the next cabinet job.  Are the pockets adaptable to many things?

Cheers,
Steve

The pockets are adaptable to all sorts of tools.

The OT-XL has 40 open pockets of various sizes and 3 zippered pockets. Below are a couple of images I just took showing the pockets on the different sides...

That's a strap in a bag in the bottom image.

Tom,

Thanks for the images.  If not too much trouble can you show an image of this hard insert that he said would work for chisels and?

Hey Steve

Here are a couple of images of my Veto Pro Pac XL and I have removed some of the chisels from the pouches at the back so you can see where they go and the hard plate that seperates the two sides.

The organisation of all the tools in the vertical makes these bags total winners, and the shoulder strap make them very comfortable to carry.

I prefer the closed top for security in transit and to keep thieving hands off when on site.

They cost more here in the UK than you will pay for them but I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

This is a link to their website and blog and they have a lot of examples of the storage for different trades and the different types of bags they do

http://www.vetopropac.com/

I dont have any connection to them other than I think their bags are the "mutts nuts" [big grin]

I prefer the closed top bag as I feel its more secure, keeps more dirt and junk out of the bag and I can't just throw things in there.  When I was using the OT-XL I would keep the common everyday tools in it and it was great for throwing in the random special tools of the day.  It was alot easier to get in and out of but was also easier to just throw things in there at the end of the day and not keep organized.  If you like to keep drills in the bag or large items it will be perfect for you.

Thanks Tom for those pics.  Heres some of the removable pouch.

Closed top bags are tje way to go.  I've dropped one too many screwdrivers or chisels at the most inoportune times (always in front of a client or builder on tile or finished wood flooring.)

Got the veto propac xl from Tom at toolhome (no direct affiliation other than buying from him...although I'm open to it! [cool])  what a great bag, very organized, it practically forces you to put things away because its so well layed out.

Open topped bags can also become garbage cans and dust bags.  End of day, tired, cleaning up, where do I put this?  Ahh, just stuff it in the bag.

My two cents.

Closed top is the way to go. I would clean out my truck every two and three months and find all of the tools that I lost. Since I use the close top Veto don' t lose tools any more. The only problem is the bag is getting heavier, I am slowly feeling every compartment!. That being said I love it, best tool bag I ever had indoor or outdoor..

Only 11 people have left a comment for this bag.  Post your comment, the chance of winning this bag is great.  The drawing is done on July 22, so don't wait to long.

Dave,

Include us non Yankees across the Pond in the competition and we will double your comment tally!! ;D

My only concern for opening this giveaway to the UK is shipping.  I have some other videos with giveaways coming up.  The ones with smaller items I will probably send them across the pond.  I've never shipped anything internationally but will look into doing it for you guys.  I like you guys from across the pond, your a funny group.

If you put the caveat that non US resident pay the shipping and the "goodie" up for grabs was a top piece of kit like the Veto then I am sure you would still get plenty of international entries.

Funny?? [eek]

That can range from amusing, humerous, and witty through to sarcastic, bolshy, down right rude or as our Aussie Fog members would lovingly refer to us as "Whinging Pommie Ba*****s!"  [crying]

You guys are mainly sarcastic and very blunt. I enjoy it, makes for fun reading.  Im sure hanging with you guys must be a blast.

I really would like to send it out without the winner paying. But if it's to much for me I will maybe offer something like that. Thanks for the suggestion.
