Here is a video I put together of the new Kreg Automaxx bench clamp.  If you're looking for more or new clamping possibilities, I honest think you should look into the Kreg clamps.  I'm happy I picked them up, they will definitely make clamping pieces while using the domino and the LR32 a breeze.

I love my MFT tables and the Kreg Automaxx compliments the MFT nicely!

To be honest, I was a little worried about the direction the Kreg tool company was going after the release of the past couple items.  I was loosing my faith in Kreg tools.  But the Automaxx clamp has restored my trust in them, at lease until they release another circular saw guided or over priced work bench frames and tool boxx.  [unsure]

Edit:  The Elf buying all the cool stuff in Germany pointed out my mistake!    [tongue]

Eric:

Nice review--thanks for comparing this new clamp to the older one as well as the Bessey!

I must respectfully give another opinion as to the value of their toolbox. I purchased one on sale that came with a generous amount of fasteners and also solved a storage problem I had for my pocket hole system. The small box it came in was cramped after I tried to fill it with bench clamps and the extra length  stock supports and vacuum attachment. Thus I perceive it to be a good value. If the bench kits utilize the same hardware as their router table and clamp table stands then again I must take up for KREG as these stands are head and shoulders above the Woodpeckers and JessEm stands as far as rigidity and strength goes. I have a JessEM and my Kreg stand is made from heavy gauge steel that is very nicely painted and is furnished with quality hardware too. Add their locking casters and you have a deluxe stand on your hands or shop floor! If I could have mounted my Excell II lift on a Kreg stand decently I would have in a New York second! That being said I think you are Spot On about the silly saw guide! And I will state that your LR32 videos are SUPERB! Thank you for doing these as they clear up many questions I had and make much more sense out of the 32 system for me and I am sure others as well.

Tom....you purchased the Kreg toolboxx on sale....not at full price... [tongue] [poke] [poke]

But I guess I shouldn't complain about the price of the Kreg toolboxx...I did put all my Kreg screws in a Sortainer  [unsure]

I'm glad you like my LR32 videos.  Positive feed back is always welcomed and encourages more videos.  [wink]

Edit:    Trying to post the video instead of a link.....but it's not working.  Sorry guys.

It didn't show the video because you are referencing a secure link. Usehttp://...  instead ofhttps://.....

Here's the video you made:

Son of a Bull frog!

I've loaded videos on the FOG before....and never came across this problem.

Thanks for pointing that out.....I'll keep an eye out for that crazy little "s" next time.  [embarassed]

Eric

Another good video.  I just bought a couple sets of the bessey clamps from Lee Valley, but may have to pick up a couple of the kreg clamps.

Very good.  Thank you for going to the trouble of doing this and publishing it.  All of these clamps are very nice new innovations.  I agree that the  new Kreg clamp mates well with the  MFT3.  Kreg Blue and Festool Green go well together!

Very nice video Eric. It was thorough and educational.  Thank you for taking the time to do it.
