Hi guys.  I wanted to share a tip on how you could add a depth stop to the plunge base for the Vecturo OS 400.

For you guys who own it, you know that the plunge base does not have a depth stop.  So maybe this tip will help someone out.

Or get your wheels turning and you can come up with a different method and share it here with us ?

Very cheap solution, $2  [wink]

Take care guys!

Thank Eric.  Don't own the Vecturo yet but it is on my list for next year.

Eric - I don't have the Vecturo (yet!!  ::)), are the rods on the plunge base larger or smaller that the rods on the Domino? I ask as I have the parts below to adjust the depth on Domino plunges (FOG thread  http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-jigs-tool-enhancements/new-woodpeckers-df500-mortise-depth-sleeves/msg330159/#msg330159  ), just wondering if they will also work for the Vecturo. THANKS.

copcarcollector,
The rods on the Domino are bigger then the ones on the Vecturo.
I should check to see if the TRAXXAS come in different sizes.  Thanks for the reminder buddy!
Eric

They can still be used, it's just not a snug fit like it is on the domino guides, however the opening in the spacer is smaller than the guide rod so it's essentially captive.  You'll need to stack a bunch of these for shallow plunges.  Below is the 5mm spacer on the plunge base to give you an idea how it fits.
