Vlies on poly

Is it advisable to use vlies on poly as a final buffing? I've done it up until now by hand but thought this might be easier/faster.

I was considering the vlies surfix as it doesn't have abrasives added so it would probably be similar to what I have been doing with abrasive pads as a final rub down.
 
Are you looking to degloss the finish?  [huh]
  I would use a liquid polishing compound and a soft wheel, not a Vlies disc, to take a clear finish like Poly to a higher sheen.
You could always try the discs from a Surfix kit to see what it does to your finish, but I suspect you will still end up with a deglossing effect on the Poly.
