Do you like to have fun building things?
The Maryland Science Center (Baltimore, MD, USA) is looking for skilled volunteer Woodworkers, Fabricators, Artist Engineers etc to help build some of their next big exhibit.
I, a FOG member, have been doing this for the last week and have had some fun doing it. However, more volunteers are needed and I thought some people from this fine group might like to get in on the fun. The hours are flexible. They have day and evening hours available. They have a fully equipped shop (sorry there are no Festools, but no one says you can't bring your own).
Don't have time but still want to contribute? They also need exhibit advisors to contribute their knowledge. These people agree to answer questions that they may need help with. For example, if you are a mechanical engineer they might ask for your advice on a conveyor system.

When e-mailing please include what skills you are interested in contributing and how much time you can commit if any, when and how you would like to be contacted, and if possible, a few work samples (photos or portfolio).
