Oh boy...Stiletto !!! I absolutely love all of mine...you won't look back !! I wrap hockey tape around the handle for a little extra grip and then swing away  ;D ;D

Yeah, I use to use the Stiletto grips and they worked fine, but then a buddy of mine turned me onto the hockey tape, and yes, much cheaper, and to me holds up much better. Plus I like to wrap it kinda thick for a little thicker grip.

I have a 10 and 14 oz hickory hammer, catspaw and molding bar....love em !!

I used to have the Ti Bone, but to be honest, but didn't really like it vs the wooden handles, so I sold that to a buddy.

A couple years back there was a prototype out there for a speed square, which I would of loved to have, but it has yet to appear.

I dunno, I couldn't go back to using any other hammer now ;D.

Yeah, I use it. I love it. I have the coldwrap grip and I wrap up near the head with elec tape for overstrike and rough treatment. I've carried it a pretty long time. I don't have the bar pictured. I have a steel one like that. I do have the little Ti demolition catpaw they make. It's great too.

great idea putting the electrical tape up near the head, im gonna have to do that as well..    how do you find the titanium catspaw holds up for demo?

Great info, Thanks..    next move will be the 14 or 16 oz framer and i couldnt decide between the tbone or the hickory... the hickory is so much less expensive its hard to jump to the tbone.  i do like how the tbone has the replaceable head.  how does the head on your 14oz hold up? is it a waffle head? 
Do you have any issues with hitting nail sets (denting the head?)

a speed square would be sweet altough it probably goes against their mindset of functionality marketing standpoint and might be a tough sell to those of us who arent junkies for cool tools    someone correct me but i think titanium is over 1.5x heavier than aluminum which would wipe out any benifit since its not an impact tool.

I have the smooth head and it's held up great. I use the 14 for framing and such, but I didn't want to get the waffle head because I'd also use it for finishing tasks such as soffit and fascia etc.

To be honest, the replaceable head seems like a great feature, which it is kind of nice, however in my opinion, you can buy 2/3 new hickory handled hammers for the same price !!! Now yes, I've had to replace my handle twice on my 14 oz, but that's only $10/15 a pop. Its certainly a beautiful hammer, but I didn't care for the "pingy" sound with my tibone and always reached for the hickory.

If you go to town on a nail set, it may leave a slight mark, but not anything to be remotely concerned about.....just got to break her in and put that first scratch on her  ;D

12 years ago I was about to leave a job site when I saw an unidentified object in the mud near a foundation wall that had just been put up.  Went over and found a Stiletto 14 in the mud.  The handle had been cut off at about 10", and some jackleg (undocumented alien) mason had apparently been using it as a masonry hammer.  I cleaned it up and sent it to Stiletto to have the handle replaced with an 18" curved hammer.  It's my go-to hammer today.  I shouldn't be surprised at some of the hare-brained things that these bozos do, but I am.

I've been tempted to pull the trigger on a Stiletto locally. The 15 TiBone has dropped from $299 to $235 (local Oz $'s) with one seller. I haven't had the opportunity to have one in my hands though [sad] so I'm not certain whether I should jump and if I do, which one(s) to jump for.

I started with their cats paw two years ago and absolutely love it, use it every day.

Picked up the 14 TiBone about a year ago and can say nothing but good things about it. I had been starting to have problems in my arm from the vibration of a fiberglass hammer, it was really noticeable after long days of framing. Since switching to the TiBone I haven't had any problems.

My latest purchase was one of their Ti flat bars. It is so nice that it is light enough to carry in my belt, again I use it every day.

That deal is kinda crazy considering they want $70 just for the prybar! 

I've got the axe handle 10oz finish hammer.  I like it for small stuff.

I went the other direction with the handle, sanded off the lacquer and gave it a light coat of oil. It feels nicer than the standard finish. 

Another note, the titanium claw chips when when you use it to break concrete.

Note to self: don't use a ti waffle head to drive 3/4" bolts through tight steel bracket holes...

good idea to go with the smooth head, i imagine the waffle would just get flattened fast anyway why the 14 over the 16?

i cant really speak for the framing hammers but i cant see how the tibone could be about $150 better than the hickory or fiberglass especially with how much of my nailing is pneumatic    plus the hickory is such a good looking hammer

what a find, nice to know that it was abused and still going 12 years later  speaks of the quality.  its ridiculous that some idiot would hack up his stiletto and use it as a masonry hammer.  serves him right for loosing it.

wish i could offer real facts about the framing hammers but i cant, in my opinion though i dont think you can go wrong with any of their hammers, they just work.. bottom line..  depending on how much you use you hammer might dictate weather or not you pop for the tibone or just go with the much cheaper hickory or fiberglass handle    they are both going to be great hammers.    after just 1 day i love my 10 oz and can already tell my old 28oz framing monster is getting retired, as of now i think im going 16oz hickory

were you using a fiberglass stiletto or steel hammer? its amazing how light those prybars are  i also like how much lift the moulding side of the "trimbar" has  its got a nice curve to it and does a great job poping casings and such off

i thought it was a great price too obviously, i was about to buy just the hammer for 70+shipping and decided to do one last search, thats when i found this deal and it was a no brainer
ill have to remember not to fight concrete with it    not quite like my old estwing, you could hit anything with that

The 14 oz for me just seemed like a good all around hammer for a multitude of tasks....now if I was pounding nails everyday, I would go with the 16 oz....just seemed overkill for a general purpose hammer....and the 14 does everything I ask of it even when I am framing  ;D
