Warranty help

I bought a power tool of someone that hadn't registered the warranty,it had only been used twice, so I logged into my festool uk account too register the warranty but its asking for the dealers info which I don't have so they can be sent a confirmation email , can I still put in the serial numbers etc in and leave the dealer section blank and still have the warranty registered ????

Can't you ask that person where he bought it from? And then ask that dealer his Festool dealer number. I had to do that myself when i bought an OF2200 from axminster.
And the warranty was registered without probs.
You also need the purchase date for the warranty, and in theory you need the invoice as well should you ever need the warranty. But that is theory!
