Water stain on red cedar.

My skylight leaked years ago and I need to repair the stain. How would/should I go about doing this?

Try sanding it. If that doesn't work, wood dye. Bleach will probably lighten the area to much.

Going by just the picture, looks like Mini-Wax Colonial Maple or maybe Fruitwood for a color match... [scratch chin]
