Probably been asked before but is there a safe weight capacityfor T Lock Systainer's locks and handles?  - I have a C 15, Installers Kit and RO 90 stacked that I sometimes carry together by the handle. I don't want to break anything or have a T Lock break open.

Thanks

Chris

I picked up my CT33 that was pretty full of debris, RO150 w/ a full assortment of paper and my DTS yesterday. All with the T-Lock handle, it picked it up fine, but I was thinking the same thing.

You don't need to worry about the handle, it will hold more weight than you'll want to carry.  I shot a short video showing the that the handle and lid of a classic and T-Loc Systainer can take a good shaking.  I've got a Systainer on my CT26 with a fair amount of construction debris in the bag.  You'll notice some flexing in the lid if the T-Loc but it held up just fine.

Seem to recall that it's either 150 or 200 pounds. Either way, far more than what you're doing. I carry my CT 22 by the handle of the systainer on top of it all the time. No trouble at all.

Yes, I still have a CT 22. [huh]

why change a winning horse!

When i remember the amount of times i filled it up to the hose without noticing, and the poor thing just keeps on going like it's 1999.

On the sys's i was also wondering about this, when you see how easily the knob jumps off if you pull it a little, or when you try to close the box when it's too full. I think well have to see how they age, it's a clever mechanism but i think it may wear over time.

150 - 200 pounds is alot of Systainers...I use the handles of the systainers all the time to move stacks of several tools or several tools connected to the CT with no issues whatsoever.  They are sturdy containers for sure.
