Available in December, the Quick Clamp MFT-HZ 80. Not a huge game changer like some offerings but will add to the arsenal. I can appreciate it will only take one hand to operate while holding the workpiece with the other instead of fumbling around with the other style of clamps.

Looks good although it isn't as strong as a holdfast. But I like its one-hand operation for jobs requiring a less demanding grip. I'll try it out at my local vendor before making any purchase decision.

It's nice to see them become available individually, but they have already been around for months in a Systainer set.

right. I would imagine a lot of us already have the other items in the kit and don't want/need duplicates or the added expense so anytime we can get something individually is appreciated.

Did we decide that these don't make holes oval over time?

That should be a concern for those who rely on their MFT for precision cuts and use such clamps regularly on jobs that require a strong grip of the workpiece on the tabletop.

No...we decided when they were first announced, that with enough usage they probably will bell-mouth the MFT holes.  [sad]
