Does anyone have this bit holder? I am thinking of getting one if the hex shank is at least 34mm so I can convert it to centrotec.  If anyone has this could you please measure the length of the shank and kindly let me know. Thank you.

Model number or pic will help as there are many wera rapidaptor holders .

I have already converted a rapidaptor 100mm from my wera manual screwdriver. It works perfectly.  I want to convert a wera ringmagnet bit holder now. I have no local store that stocks this so wanted to know if anyone on the fog have one of the wera 75mm ringmagnet bit holders who could measure the length of the hex shank.

I have found this pic of what seems to be a 100mm ringmagnet bit holder, so wera do sell these. I can't find one available anywhere at all.

Got a reply from wera today. That long ringmagnet bit holder was a prototype that never went into production. They also confirmed they would not be making any bit holders that would be compatible with festool (centrotec).

I have decided to buy either the short wera ringmagnet bit holder or the wiha flipmagic bit holder that can lock into my wera rapidadator that is centrotecised. That is for when I need the option of a magnet bit holder to hold screws.

Sae, that would not make them powerful enough for long thick screws. The ringmagnet holders are what is needed for screw holding power. I like the wera and wiha ones. The wiha one releases the screw just before the screw head reaches the surface so you can see the screw going in enabling greater control. Also you can deactivate the magnet by sliding back.
