Has anyone had a freak T storm hit while driving with your Midi in the pick-up bed.. After I got home it had a half gallon or so, in the vent area as well as the top hose well... Started up right away, works fine, but I was wondering if the motor is sealed an unaffected?

Thx

I can't answer your question but my Mini got soaked in a rain storm before with no long term effects.

Thanks Brice, I had expected the thing to blow a breaker when I turned it on, but didn't even burp.

Sorry for not answering sooner. The motor area is pretty well sealed. I wouldn't submerse it in water, but what you've described probably won't cause any issues. You can always call the service department if you want their assessment and more information on how water resistant the motor housing is.

Thx. It does seem to be working just fine. I was a bit concerned thinking of rust n corrosion.

I'll be wrapping it in a tarp if weather looks treatening
