What a difference a Boom Arm makes

my poor man's wall mounted boom arm, made in 15 minutes and makes work so much more pleasant!
made with beech left-overs and and a hinge, the metal wire part could be improved though but i had nothing at

Looking for ideas to make my own boom arm too. The picture is unfortunately not available anymore. Would you mind repost one?

For those of use who have exposed joist, I used 1 1/2 abs and a couple of street sweeps and I hang the hose and cord from it while cutting and routing, works great.

Just a thought, if anyone is looking for a highly mobile, inexpensive boom arm alternative, have a look at an " infusion stand" , what is used in hospitals etc, on amazon for around £50, look like this could be quite a good alternative.
